We are excited to announce that Yuko Suzuki has advanced her Title to Chairperson 7!
When she found out at PXP this past year that she had made it, Suzuki said it wasn’t a huge mental change for her.
“When my Chairperson 7 Title was confirmed at PXP, it didn’t feel like a big burst of excitement. It felt more like I had quietly arrived at a place I had been moving toward for a long time,” Suzuki said.
What was more important to her, a perfect example of her leadership style, was being able to see her team members recognized.
“More than my own recognition on stage, the time I spent watching my team members recognized from the floor and from the side of the stage felt much more real to me,” she said. “The strongest feeling I had was not ‘This is the end,’ but a very calm sense of ‘This is where it really starts.
Fighting Through the Doubt
Reaching this new Title did not come without some second guesses and internal questions along the way, Suzuki said. She had to contend with thoughts like Am I worthy of being there? and I can’t be like that leader.
“I had plenty of ‘good reasons’ I could use as excuses, and I needed to look at each of them one by one,” she said. When meditating, she continued, she made sure to check in with herself. What was she afraid of, she asked herself often. Would it be that bad if she didn’t reach the new Title, she would also ask herself.
“I finally realized that was just something I was telling myself,” Suzuki said. “By doing that, I was able to acknowledge my own internal brakes and my habit of postponing things.”
At some point, Suzuki said she finally put her foot down with herself and acknowledged that yes, she did want to experience reaching the new Title, that she did not want to keep putting it off.
“By making that decision and saying it out loud to other people, I felt a switch flip inside me, and that helped me stay with it all the way to the end,” she said.
Suzuki has shown time and again how to grow and how to lead with empathy and compassion. You don’t get to Chairperson 7 by sheer luck. Her ability to acknowledge her doubts and work to conquer them is beyond commendable. We are excited to have her in our rapidly growing market in Japan as someone other Brand Partners can look to.

Looking to the Future
Looking ahead, Suzuki said she is most looking forward to the momentum of the Japanese market.
“I haven’t yet gone through a true, large-scale momentum phase myself, so over the next year or two, I want to experience that moment together with my team,” she said. “On that journey, I’m looking forward to seeing more and more people realize, ‘It’s okay for me to design my own life,’ and watching people who live with love and prosperity share that with the people around them.”
Congrats, Suzuki!
