Please join us in congratulating Takeshi Morita on achieving the Title of Chairperson 1!
To reach this new level, Morita credits his team. Without them, he said, it would not have happened, or if it did, it’d have taken much longer.
“I was able to achieve this Title because of my teammates — my community and the people who’ve walked this journey with me. I could never have done it on my own. Having the right environment, a team and people who consistently supported me made this promotion possible,” he said.
It wasn’t always the easiest, though, he said, but reiterated that his team supported him and got him through.
“The hardest part was making the decision — fully committing,” Morita said. “My team gave me the push I needed. I kept telling myself, ‘I can earn the Title anytime,’ and I kept postponing it. I didn’t actually make the decision to go for it.”
When it feels like you can do it anytime, then it’s easier to drift away from it, putting it off again and again.
“But a new Title, of any level, doesn’t happen unless you truly decide, ‘I’m doing this,’” he said. “If I could do it again, I’d commit earlier — pass the baton sooner to the next generation, keep raising my own standard and make sure I don’t become satisfied with where I am now.”
Takeshi Morita’s success is a direct reflection of his commitment to growth and the strength of the team he has developed. Leaders who build others first build lasting success, and Morita-san is doing exactly that. We’re excited to see what he and his organization accomplish next.

Throughout, Morita said he kept one specific mantra in mind, something that is fully reflective of his team-first approach as well as something he thinks everyone should keep in mind as they build their businesses.
“I always thought back to the proverb, ‘If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.’ I think that speaks to how my team and I have grown and how we will continue to grow long into the future,” he said.
Congrats, Morita!
