Experience Milan during PXP’24

October 2024 will be a month to remember for Partner.Co’s Brand Partners. The PXP’24 Milan event sold out in record time, and with good reason – after the success of last year’s PXP’23, no one wants to miss the biggest, most inspirational event of the year!

Let’s look at some recommendations to ensure you enjoy every minute of your trip.

Event Location

PXP’24 Milan will take place on October 4 – 6 at the Big Theatre in the MIND Milano Innovation District, so our first recommendation is to familiarise yourself with the area and plan how to get to the venue ahead of time. Click below to view your options and download their mobility map.

Where to Stay

The venue is conveniently located near the Malpensa airport (20 min by car) as well as Linate (30 min) and Orio al Serio (45 min) airports. Nearby hotels such as NH Milano Fiera, Klima Hotel Milano Fiere and voco Milan can be a good option, however, availability is quickly running out, so book your flights and stay as soon as possible.

Experience Milan

Exploring Milan not only will make your trip more enjoyable, but it will give you the opportunity to create happy memories to treasure forever. Let’s look at some ideas.

Art & Culture

The city centre is full of historical landmarks, we can’t number them all, but here are some recommendations:

Duomo di Milano: Everyone knows you can’t leave without visiting the city’s most emblematic Gothic cathedral, dating back to 1386. Make sure you head to the rooftop!

Teatro alla Scala: The history of this opera theatre starts in 1776, so it’s a perfect stop to discover part of Milan’s artistic inheritance.

Pinacoteca di Brera: If you’re an art lover, you will enjoy the masterpieces and collections stored in this gallery, as well as walking around the Via Brera’s art shops or the Palazzo Brera.

Cenacolo Vinciano: Admire the iconic “Last Supper”, painted by Leonardo da Vinci in the 15th century in the wall of the refectory of the convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie.

Activities

If you prefer to be out and about, you can walk alongside the charming district of the Navigli‘s ancient canals or join a guided boat tour to learn all their secrets. This area, including the Darsena, becomes a vibrant nightlife hotspot, perfect to dine and connect with friends.

Fashion

Fashion lovers, you’re in the right place! Some of the most emblematic areas to visit include Quadrilatero della Moda, where you can walk among the most prestigious designer fashion boutiques in the Via Monte Napoleone, shopping area in the Centro Storico, such as Gucci, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and Prada.

You can also visit Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the city’s famous shopping arcade hosting historical, luxury brands and boutiques such as Prada, Louis Vuitton, Borsalino and many more.

Taste the Tradition

To have a truly authentic culinary experience, opt for Milan’s traditional dishes from a local “Trattoria”. These include:

Cotoletta: A breaded veal cutlet coated in crunchy breadcrumbs and fried in butter.

Risotto alla Milanese: Creamy risotto flavoured with saffron, often served with Ossobuco, a tender veal meat with a rich bone marrow.

Cassöeula: Pork and cabbage stew.

Polenta: Side dish typical from Northern Italy made of cornmeal.

Michetta: Bread roll of Austrian origins, dating back to the 18th century.

Mondeghili: Beef and sausage meatballs of ancient Spanish influence.

Büsèca: Tripe stewed with beans.

Last but not least…

…enjoy every moment! Connect with others, experience what it means to be part of Partner.Co and dream big as you thrive, because we’re Better Together.
