Darren Zobrist Profiled in Newsweek Japan

Recently, our Founder and CEO, Darren Zobrist, was featured in an article in Newsweek Japan, one of the country’s premier journalistic outlets!

The Path to Helping Others

The piece begins by delving into Darren’s history — his MBA from the Wharton School of Business, his time on Wall Street and his fateful trip to Mexico, where the seed for what would become the largest producer of sushi-grade tuna, Anova Food Group, was planted.

After growing Anova to a global powerhouse in the seafood world — it would become an international cooperative involving tens of thousands of fishermen across 13 countries that simultaneously greatly improved the lives of the fishermen who caught the tuna — Darren realized he wanted more from life.

“That was a turning point in my career because I realized that I could help people totally change the direction of their lives and take control over their own future,” he said of his experience.

The Philosophy of True Partnership

The article then looks more into that philosophy and how it helped shape what would become Partner.Co. Being able to uplift others, Darren realized, was his true calling, and to do so, he focused on the idea of true partnership.

At the end of the day, I want the businesses I lead to mean more and help people change their lives for the better. That’s the lens we look through at Partner.Co when we carry out our mission of powering health and prosperity around the world.
