Plus, we all know exercise is a great stress-reliever. So, when life gives you lemons, take it out on those burpees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Did you know that adults should do at least&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/physicalactivity\/basics\/adults\/index.htm?CDC_AA_refVal=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cdc.gov%2Fphysicalactivity%2Feveryone%2Fguidelines%2Fadults.html\">2 hours and 30 minutes&nbsp;<\/a>&nbsp;each week of aerobic physical activity that requires moderate effort? If that sounds like a lot, make your goals feel more achievable, and aim to get at least 20 minutes of exercise a day. Then slowly start incorporating more time and activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t forget to incorporate strength training at least twice a week and include all major muscle groups. Why? Focusing on what you\u2019re thankful for, such as your loved ones, can help you feel more optimistic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Above all, be kind to yourself and practice self-compassion. Don\u2019t let your inner voice be a cruel one. Remember that it\u2019s OK to make mistakes, especially when you\u2019re doing your best!
